Kingdom Hearts II Kairi's Nobody

How does Kairi have Namine as a Nobody when she did nothing to gain it? To get a nobody, One with a strong heart has to lose it and become a heartless. Kairi was just a lifeless shell. She never turned into one of those shadows or whatever. How Sora got Roxas was easy. He became a heartless. And it was easy to see how Roxas was created. But Kairi, you have to dig and dig to find plausible to explain it and even then it doesn't make sense. I just think that they couldn't think of a way to get rid of Namine or put her into the game without making her related to Kairi. So they decided to make her a Nobody and make her Kairi's. I just call it laziness.

 

She had no darkness in her heart (shes a princess of heart) So thats why she doesnt have a heartless

 

Wait. somethings not right... didn't Kairi's heart hide in Sora's body? that's why Namine' doesn't have any of Kairi's memories, and only controlls Sora's. And no, I'm not saying one of Sora's nobodies is a girl. XD

 

Kairi's Nobody, Naminé, wasn't born like most nobody's. I don't know how she was born, nor do I know if we even LEARN about it through the actual game or the Jiminy Journals.

 

But why did she have to be Kairi's Nobody? Why not a nobody wandering around.

 

My theory (though it has many flaws) is something like:

Since Kairi was a princess of heart, darkness didn't enter her body until her heart was relocated into Sora's. Since we don't have any idea how long it would take for one to turn into a nobody, especially a princess of heart who's being is full of light, we should assume it would take a long time. She was being filled with darkness, but when she regained her heart, she became a complete princess of light, and the darkness was cast out, but it had already...let's say molded into what was going to Namine, that that's all that was to her: an incomplete and unique nobody that didn't posess all of Kairi's memories, if any. The same could be said of Roxas: Sora spent a limited amount of time separated from his heart, and when he was reunited, the process of completing Roxas was interrupted, and there were certain gaps in Roxas, his memories in particular.

Yes, I know, I'm a freak for thinking this out so much!

 

Kairi is a Princess of Heart, and therefore lacks the darkness needed to create a Nobody -- however, Sora doesn't. So when Sora (spoilers) freed Kairi's heart, HIS darkness was used to create her Nobody, Namine, which is why Namine can control the memories of Sora and those connected to him.

Kairi is a princess of heart therefore has no darkness unlike Sora. When Kairi (KH1) was all lifeless Sora had her heart or something inside him and his darkness combined with Kairis pure heart made Naminé.

I think it's something like that but I didn't play the first game that much.

 

Yeah, Namine had to have been formed when he placed her Heart back to her. When he gave her Heart back to her the Dark Keyblade was used which was the combined hearts of the princesses but also merged with Darkness which probably propelled the Darkness needed to form a Nobody. DiZ does comment that she is not even a whole Nobody and the other Nobodies say she's even less of one than they are. Because Riku had guarded her body and Sora had her Heart, basically, she wasn't consumed by Darkness as both protected her. I'm sure whether she was a Princess of Heart or not, had she been taken, there was nothing anyone could have done but because Sora had her Heart, she wouldn't have had a Heartless or a Nobody. I would say more than 'Sora's Darkness', that the Dark Keyblade is the reason.

As it's been said since Kairi was one of the princess' she had no darkness in her heart in order for a heartless to be formed.

Unlike Sora (who obviously did have darkness in his heart), aw he looked so cute as a shadow and the byproduct (his nobody Roxas) is cute too ;-)

I don't think the producers just decided to make Namine Kairi's nobody in KH2 just to slot her into place. It was dediced in the beginning (that's why they look v. similar) and actually finding out that the two were connected in this way is part of the twist/irony. You should know that Square are very good w/ their story lines and don't just chuck in stuff willy-nilly.

Since Kairi is a princess of heart she is pure light. Put when Sora used Riku's Keyblade it release all the princess hearts with a bit of darkness in them. Since in KH COM it was said that Naimine was a witch they called her. She was like a person who had the power to mess up ppls memories. So the organization used her to use her powers to mess up sora's memories so that she was the one he would remember not Kairi. But in the end she tells him the truth that it isn't her that he is looking for and Kairi's charm was changed into a charm that naimine made, but sora still had Kairi's charm so i think thats what connects Kairi and Naimine. Then in KH2, Roxas had met Naimine which meant that they were connected. Then Roxas Speaks to Kairi when he is falling i think he calls her *Naimine* but then she corrects him. Thats how i think Kairi and Naime r connected

Well, eveyone pretty much answered but then it does give you another answer.

People wonder why Namine had this certain thing towards Sora, and no it isn't because Kairi has feelings for Sora.>_> But yeah, her being born is really the answer to that question itself.
