Birth by Sleep Kairi and KH1 some spoilers

I know this is an obviouse question but was Sora able to hole Kairi's heart because of the spell that Aqua put on Kairi's necklace?

 

Obvious? You know, I never thinked about it before, but maybe your right...

 

I thought it was it was obviouse maybe not.... Anyway if you remember Aqua said 'when your in trouble your light will lead you to the light of another' so I thought maybe that meant Kairi's light lead her to Sora's light

 

never thought of that, and it makes sense.

though i think Sora is "spechial" due to his strong light, and thought myself it was becouse of that " and his friendship with kairi" that made her heart hide in him, but thats something she prob couldent do by herself and got help from the spell..

That's a good possibilty but then again, the power of a Princess of Heart is unknown to us, we know that when 6 of the 7 Princesses of Heart put together can open up the 'Final' Keyhole even though Hollow Bastion had it's own and the six of them could even hold back the darkness emiting from it so Sora could lock it and even sense where Xehanort's Heartless had gone to.

So Kairi could have unknowningly tapped into that power and lived within Sora without knowledge of it, but also, the power of Light and pure hearts could also be at work too since Sora's Heart was as pure as it could be.

 

It seems to make the most sense that the events of KH1 were connected to Aqua's spell. Every scene has a reason for being included. We saw Aqua put a spell on Kairi, so it follows that the spell did something. The situation of KH1 seems to match up well with the wording of the spell, so it seems to be a pretty safe bet.

 

I thought that Aqua's spell pertained more to Kairi arriving at Destiny Islands--when Xehanort's Heartless (or some other Ansem? don't remember exactly) sent her off, she found Sora. It's very possible that Sora was able to absorb Kairi's heart due to the spell, but I like to kind of think of Sora as magnet of hearts, if you will. Everything seems to be attracted and centered around him, by KH1 he already

Do we really need to spoiler tag that Sora and Ven are connected? We find out in the first few minutes of BBS.

I'd say it was Sora's light, for the same reasons Misty stated. Sora attracted Ven's light, so it follows that he probably also attracted Kairi's.

 

that is a good point... but could Kairi's necklace attracted anyone elses light to?

 

I do not think so, Riku could of been a possible candidate if he wasn't taken by the darkness, but it's all speculation, besides, the end result is Sora and Kairi were together throughout the most of KH I before Hollow Bastion (Going KH I world names in said timeline)
