i'm thinking about getting guitar hero. just asking to those who have played it or own the game themselves... is it any good?
Ummmm, it's good for 3 weeks, and then after that things start to get boring. I would recommend rock band if you have any game consuls that go online, becuz I hear that u can get better songs on it, plus its not like ur playen the same exsact thing every single time. Plus, the new one that is coming out is pretty much a rip off of rockband, so I really wouldn't get it. PLUS why waste money on getting a guitar that at some point after like a year is gonna short circuit, just for u to play a select list of songs which u can never change. Take guitar hero 3 for example. I beat it on hard in less then 24 hours >.>
I got tired of it, then I bought Rockband and played for months. Rockband is alot better if you have alot of friends willing to play in your band. It has guitars, drums, and microphones. It's better than Guitar Hero.
nice. well, rockband IS pretty good, but really expensive. if want cheap(er), get GH. it IS Christmas season. maybe you can give GH to someone you live with and ask for rockband if you celebrate it.
I've never played Rock band, so I can't really comment on which is better out of the rivals (Though I do plan to play soon ;D) GH varies on how good it is depending on how obsessive you get. If you're a perfectionist the game will last you forever. I really enjoyed it for the first few months...then..it got kinda naff xD
Lol, would it change ur mind if I told u that the next guitar hero is a complete rip of rockband o_O now dun get me wrong, they are, in the end, rips of Frets on fire, but atleast rockband had enough originality to make drums and microphones to. the new guitar hero is supposed to have something that makes u make your own songs as well, but, let's face it people, who here DOESNT suspect that this feature will be incredibly hard to use? o_O
i wanna play guitar hero because well.. my friend is a loves the game and he keeps tormenting me with it. I want to be able to epically kick his a$$ at the game. (although that could take a while since he can completely the HARDEST song in the game on hard mode. he's almost as deadly on DDR >.>)
THATS WHY I WANTED TO GET GUITAR HERO ALSO!!!!!!!!!!! and 1 year later I still wanna kick my ass for choosing to get it for christmas ^_^
Well, there are several stores that may have Rock Band as a demo and Guitar Hero as a demo. Try out Guitar Hero and try Rock Band. Try every instrument there is for the games to find your niche, and that way you'll see which is right for you.
they dont have demo versions of GH and Rockband in the gamestores in australia i think. I dont know.
