    1) why not make posts count here? It sure dis-encourages people from posting things that would really help here on this section.

    2) Let users log-in using their User ID (Example: mine is 49518) , and password, It sure would help, considering lots of people, Me included, have Uncommon Characters in their names.

Regarding posts counting, people could just come up with crazy suggestions to increase their posts count.

Regarding logging in with User IDs, it would just make it easier for people to gain access to another person's account.

It wouldn't actually. It would essentially be the same thing as copy-pasting their username in an attempt to hack their account.

As for posts counting here, I have to agree with Amaury. People may come up with false suggestions and such in an attempt to get to more posts with very little effort.

I agree, i mean you could even get people finding cool pictures of kingdom hearts characters and posting them in suggestions as a suggestion for a new skin.

I think the reason suggestions don't have post count is because the amount of posts that are simply things like "I support" or "+1."
Those let the users give feedback to a suggestion, even if it's just a simple aye or nay, but aren't really post count-worthy.

I do like the user ID one, but I don't think it's possible?

but, What I meant was log in with your user ID and your password, so in a way its actually safer than your username.

Regard the ID, I can't really choose if it's better put your number instead of your username, because there would be hard for some people, me for example, to remember it. I'm really bad at remember things. =X

As for Post counts, what everyone said.

well, you would not have to, your username is short, and to know it, go to your profile and look up at the address bar.

Using your user ID is not less safe than using your username. Anyone can copy and paste your username or your ID. It's your password that makes it a secret.

Does anyone know if the User ID idea is possible or not?

I've looked on the vB resource site and I think I found something that'd let you use your email, nothing for User ID though.

I would say that if you can't type your username it might not be all that practical a username, but I get that people like symbols & the names they want are often taken.
