This was really cool to see. I don't know why, but just something about seeing wild animals walk across your backyard is awesome too see. But 3 deer, 2 just little children and 1 mom, were literally hoping and running around our backyard for a little while. I would say a bit steorotypical, but since this is real life, maybe that doesn't count. And during this cool moment my dog was just growling and staring at them. At least he didn't bark.

I've had anywhere from 3 - 9 deer walk around my yard. It happens really often. It's neat, except it gets scary when papa deer is out there.

Scary? Maybe you should have tempted him to chase you. If you never got your exercise for the day, he'd certainly make you run for your life. Just thinking about that would make me laugh.

That must have been a cool sight !
Is your house near a forest or something, or right in the middle of a town ?

A few years ago I drove back from a marriage around 2am. I encountered a couple of wolves, they were right in the middle of the road (in the outskirts of a big city, there was nothing but factories around). They completely ignored my big, noisy, blinding car stopping a few feet from them, they acted as if it wasn' t even here. I watched them in complete amazement for two minutes, and then they finally left, playing around.

That would be so awesome. I wouldn't want to be one the wrong end of the teeth, but seeing Wolves, Coyotes, and Foxes have always amazed me. One time in Colorado my friend and I were walking home from Subway, and just as we were coming into our subdivision, we saw this Coyote just a few yards from us. It just stood there staring. I wanted to get closer, but when I see things like that, I can't move, just because seeing them in real life in the open is cool enough.
But I wouldn't say we live in a forest, just a very tree-filled area. It might have been a forest as one time, but there's just a huge amount of trees around us, and plenty of greenery. It's not like when I lived in South Carolina, but it's fairly decent. It's basically in the middle of nowhere important, but just far enough outside Greensboro that we can see wild animals. I'm hoping that when I leave for California I'll be seeing a lot more wild animals, since I'll be staying in the middle of a giant Redwood forest. It's literally miles away from anywhere, so it's the perfect place to see anything wild, including bears

I had pack of wild turkeys roam around my backyard.
The funny thing about that was that it was in November.

oh yeah, that reminds me, I gotta share some pictures I took at a science place... which might also be part zoo, I'm not sure. But at the place there was this wandering Turkey, and it was a rivalry at first site. I kept messing with it, and it just kept trying to scare me away
