Okay guys, can we have a talk about this game? WHY DOES EVERY BODY STILL FLIP SH*T OVER THIS GAME? I'm really not critiquing here- I EFFING LOVED THIS GAME AS A KID. Loved it. Heck, I still appreciate it for just how big a sequel it was back then... but why do we still love it as opposed to just appreciate it? It hasn't aged well at all (at least, that's how I felt playing Soul Silver), and the Pokemon roster really wasn't all that impressive with very few note worthy add-ons and even less with a likely chance to stumble across. The joy then was more of "FINALLY! NEW POKEMON!" as opposed to "Oooh, these look awesome!" I mean, this game gave us Stantler. I just think, you know, with a franchise with as much backwards compatibility as this with the adventures being relatively samey, why are we looking to the past so often? NOW CLOSE THAT RAINYMOOD LINK AND ENJOY THIS NOSTALGIA SURGE I think this song is half of my love for Gen II.
I would have to say that the music for generations II and III were the best. After Sinnoh came out, the music kind of went downhill again
