So what do you have to say about a person who died twice in 10 minutes on the same boss fight which teaches you a tutorial on how to switch paradigms? Because seriously, that was ridiculous. I mean, I switched to a medic even before I got hit and still died. That stupid Crystal Rain attack does too much damage. That guide book is at least helping me a little bit out. And before you say anything, I pretty much buy a guide book for any Final Fantasy game I buy, or Kingdom Hearts Edit: Oh yeah, you wanna know what the lady at the gamestop said to me, which was probably a little rude and not neccissary. She actually said when I was paying for the game if I was sure I didn't want to get a pro membership for power up rewards, just because all the games I'd recently bought had been pre-owned, and if I had gotten pro membership I could save $2. Yeah, let me tell you a few things, 1) a good portion of those games are on there because I got the points of buying the games, but it was actually my brother alone who bought them, 2) the last games I bought where pre-owned because there was a buy 2 get 1 free pre-owned, 3) I really don't care about a $2 difference. Seriously, is it really neccissary to actually say that to someone? What's it matter if you're just buying pre-owned? I've been getting good deals for them, so why not?
In the early stages just use potions : it' s quicker, more efficient, and that way you can keep your characters as rav or com (med have few HP).
Nah it's cool man. It took me like 10 times to beat the first boss. But heh Im glad it was tough, that way we learn how to use the para-thing or w/e for real. And really, guide books? Those things are useless.
Actually, you wanna know the most annoying and strangest part? Just as the Crystal Rain was about to hit I used a Potion, but apparently it didn't get to me in time, it was like a fraction of a second late because I ended up dying. But the third time I ended up beating it and saved, just to make sure. I also messed with the stat stuff the 3rd time, so I'm thinking that might have made a little difference I'm pretty sure I'll need it for this one, especially once I get to the point where they have missions. I'm not sure I'll get even close to 100% of this done before I leave unless I play all day every day before the 21st(which I doubt my mom would be happy about),and maybe even then I bet I wouldn't get all the way I'm thinking I might find this one useful. I know I already got items I'm sure I would have missed if I didn't have it. Not too mention, if I didn't have it to give advice on how to work with teams, I'd be messing around a ridiculous amoutn of time trying to figure out what to do with who and all that crap. Besides, I was originally only going to buy a headset and the game itself this year with my birthday money. What's 1 book of a difference going to cause?.....probably me being able to play the game
Let me tell you a few things. She was being payed to say that. It would have saved you money and made them money (through advertisements or something). It is rude to openly not care about others trying to do you a service. Why you would need a guide for a one-way street is beyond me.
Employees are forced to say things like that, as Makaze said. Apparently they can really get on your case--my sister works at Old Navy and always gets in trouble for not issuing enough of their credit cards. Plus Gamestop's rewards program doesn't look too bad, I just recently joined the free one / was conned into it by a store employee and it actually looks kind of fun. c': $2 might not seem like a lot but it can add up, especially when you start getting enough points to earn gift cards or something.
well, considering that it's going to be the last thing I ever buy at gamestop for at least a year, I seriously doubt I need to pay a subscription for something I won't need. Plus I only buy games once a year, so that 2 dollars really means nothing to me.
Especially considering there' s a lil' map showing everything there is to find. As for any FF there' s a lot of informations in the guide that would require either insolents amounts of luck or hundreds of hours to figure out empirically. All that stuff can be found on-line for free, but web pages aren' t as convenient to use as books, although I suspect Wingly probably doesn' t care about any of that. Chances are he' ll just follow the (dreadful) guide advices.
pretty much. And personally, I'd rather follow a book's advice than someone's advice on a walkthrough online. Don't have any reason for it, I just prefer the book over the internet. And maybe also because a book doesn't get deleted if something happens online. Sure, a book can be thrown away, but if my mom somehow throws that book away, she is paying for a new one.
