Did anyone notice...during the trailer when they showed some of (what im guessing) is the opening cutscene...

that Terra is running down a hall...running AWAY from (what im guessing) darkness

and

that Ventus is running down a hall..running AWAY from (what im guessin) light?

I'm guessing Terra and Ven are trying to escape their fates. Terra's running from darkness and Ven's running from the light.

 

I agree with Alpha. They have destiny's they don'y really wany. But by avoiding that path, in the end they are still led towards it.

 

That was an awesome trailer.

 

Don't forget Mickey is in there too :D

 

imo, it represents that they are trying to run away from their fates and destinies.

...looks like Terra still messes up with the whole darkness thing in the end though.

 

Terra and ven are probably just running away from their destinies. My guess is that Terra is destined to fall into darkness and become the apprentence Xehanort, and Ven is destined to fall into light and become a part of Sora/Roxas or something like that, only time will tell once the game comes out.

 

here are some thoughts...

1) i believe that Terra becomes the "Xehanort" we know now..

2) Ventus is the frist Heartless...notice when there is a "baby ven" on the island, his eyes looks like how kairis did when she was missing a heart..so maybe hes got alot more light than normal? or he loses it and makes the frist heartless?

god..i cant wait till this game comes out!

 

Um, I don't believe that's a baby Ven.
If you read it from the translation of the trailer when it first came out, it was a translating mistake.
It wasn't suppose to be 'wrapped up baby' but 'wrapped up likea baby'.
Most people assume that it is Ven, after the final battle defrosting from the MX's Blizzard-like attack.

I believe this, considering how it looks exactly like Ven, same size and everything.

 

Wow, that's a really great trailer. LOL I love the music at the beginning of the trailer. I'm so ready to get this game when it comes out in Japan

 

...i didnt know the "baby ven" was incorrect...anywho. apart from that his eyes where like Kairis...which means MX took his heart..or something happend to make him "not whole"

Great trailer indeed.
The opening sequence looks amazing, along with the story
line. Its packed with a lot of stuff

As for Vanitas, that word in Latin means vanity, so thats interesting.
Someone whose vain helping Ven, or at least it seems. And since Vanitas
has yellow eyes, it looks like they got a first hand look at Kingdom Hearts,
as you can see in the earlier trailers when Terra looks at KH, his eyes turn
yellow. Maybe Vanitas is a fallen keyblade master, similar to Riku, since
he gave up his shot to be a pure keyblade wielder, hes doing all he can to
help those who have the will to be so, like Ven/Aqua.

Then again, what the hell do I know? haha I just want to play
this game! <3
