No Thanks JPEG, AND Bidmap

I found that the albums on peoples home pages can only hold JPEG files is there a way to make it so we could also save Bidmap (BMP) files to?
I know this sounds pointless but I've been making sprites for people and sending them via the albums on this site to their home pages and they always come out really bad on JPEG but not on Bidmap.

 

You do know that you can also use PNG, right?
Oh, and it's Bitmap, not Bidmap.

 

Pretty sure gif works better for sprites than anything else. Try using them instead.

 

I'd try jpg or gif instead of bitmap. Yes, you may lose some quality but gif usually holds pretty well. The more detailed something is, sadly the more space it consumes and that may be the reason bitmap (bmp) isn't allowed. We'd have to get RvR's say on it but meanwhile, give .gif a try.
