Do you think it'd be weird if Jessie McCarthy voiced Ven?

 

Ven is probably older than Roxas so the exact same voice might not work to well.

 

Well, how long has it been since KH2 came out? I mean, hey, Jesse's voice has probably changed a bit. It may be (a bit) deeper for all we know. Plus, I think it would be fitting for Jesse voicing for Ven.

 

Well in Japan Ven is being voiced by the same person who did Roxas so they should do the same in the US release.

I think he will make vens voice the same as roxas' voice just like in japan

 

Well in the Jap. it's still the same voice actor, so it might not be that strange.

 

Heh, although it'd be funny if during the Cinderella world, Jessie used his Theodore voice at times when Ven turns into a mouse.:D

 

Hmm, I would like, I know it's not going to happen, but it would be cool to have Ven's, or Terra's voiced by the actor that voiced Riku in kingdom hearts 1.

 

It wouldn't be too wierd if he did the voice over, since the same person is doing it in the Japanese version.

 

When we get the chance we should copy Japan as much as we can. We already have for Axel (Voiced by the Reno voice Actor) Why not Ven?

Yeah, I doubt they'd get anyone else to do the voice for Ven. I mean, they are trying to show the similarities between the two. Especially since they're keeping the VA in Japanese. It would be like them getting a VA other than Quinton Flynn for Axel, while they kept Reno's VA for the Japanese version.

 

I thought it was already confirmed that Jesse WAS doing Ven's voice?

 

If Jesse is doing Ven, he probably might make his voice sound deeper..

 

I think they'd try to mix it up since they used him for Roxas, but who knows. English dubs might do it again so it's not a hassle to try to find somebody similar to his voice, but different at the same time. :/

Well by the time the game comes out, his voice MIGHT already be deeper.

 

He's pretty old so i doubt his voice will get any deeper

You know the same person voices Riku for both games... right?
And Ven WILL have Jessie McCartney as his VA because the same thing is happening in Japan.
And he will probably NOT play it deeper, or anything because Nomura wants to make it very clear that there is a special connection with Ven and Roxas which is why they look exactly the same, and will sound the same and will probably having me hating them the same :D

 

why not? they look IDENTICAL, and theres a special connection between them, rite? i already have a guess on what it is, judging by the fact that Ven was on destiny island's saw Sora and Riku, at some point, was a keyblade wielder, and sora's nobody looks/sounds like him. perhaps it was Ven's voice all along in KH1 that only Sora could hear "keyblade...keyblade....so much to do....so little time....take ur time...the door is still shut....dont forget, u are the one who will open the door to light" and he did. perhaps Ven sensed that or something.
