    I loved this game when i was a kid! It was released:

    EU December 12, 1997
    NA May 31, 1998
    JP June 24, 1999

    The Jersey Devil shares more characteristics to that of a bat. His primary mission is to stop Dr. Knarf, who tries to stop Jersey Devil with mutated vegetables. Jersey Devil uses his punch, jumping, and gliding abilities to defeat his enemies. In numerous areas of the game, it is necessary to collect all five letters of Knarf's name to proceed, adding a puzzle element to the gameplay.
    There are six areas in the game with three levels each: two main levels, and a secret bonus level unlockable if the player's Nitro power level is high enough.

    Have you played this game, if so, explain what you loved best about it. I loved running around and trying to find the letters. the pumpkin head kids scared me when i was young! hahaa.

    It wasn't well recieved... i loved it cause it was like my second game i got for the PS1, so maybe if i ever get the chance to play it again, i may change my mind... but it was soo cool!

    Here's the intro video:

    and some gameplay:

    This is old now that i look back at it, but maybe if they released a new version or a classic version on the PSN, that would be sweet! i would by it in an instant.

    I remember seeing it in a game store once, but not being too interested in it. ;w;

    I'm looking at a gameplay video of it now, and it looks really reminiscent of the Crash Bandicoot series (which the two games I played were alright), so I may check this out at some retail stores one day.

    yeah it practically is non existent. So you will only find it somewhere like a retro store for classic gaming. I just wished they had it on the PSN... You have to obviously be careful of how many scratches on the back of the disc. The PS1 Discs are really fragile...(well so is everything else) but it is a really great game and i recommend it to all you classic gamers.

    One of my first PS1 games. Though I never really got too far in it, I always died on the 5th level or so and it made you start all over if you lost all your lives... the pumpkins use to scare me a bit as a kid. xD

    Was a fun game though.
