the September musical is coming once again to my lovely little school and this time, they've decided to do Disney's "The Little Mermaid" im in the drama club, and i wanted to try out for someone, preferably someone evil such as flotsam or jetsam. instead though, the annoying little b!tch, Luna, got the part of Ariel and since she sings like a terminally ill, tone deaf cat, i have to sing her parts backstage while she lip syncs! this happened during last years winter musical, when she played meg and i sung her part. im almost 18 and im a guy, but i still have a light girly singing voice... (and talking voice for that matter) at least i convinced them to add the song " A new day is dawning" (with slight altercations, the parts with sora, Donald, and goofy) from kh2. i have to sing her parts ion that song as well... if it wasn't for the fact that most of the female leading role musicals will bomb...i wouldn't do all of this! but if they really could get me out of remedial English...its worth a try! (i hate remedial English... its all ghetto...the only thing missing is the girl who has a baby in mid class, and the girl who asks for the baby cuz her mom gives her's away)

if you were forced to sing "i wont say im in love", "Part of your world", "a new day is dawning" and a couple other songs while an uppity little ******bag takes all the credit, you'd really understand...lats time i slapped her, it left a bruise.

 

lol, That would REALLY piss me off if I had to do that.

 

i do it only cuz i can continue to slap Luna, get out of remedial English, and cuz im a Frikin' good singer!

Something like this happened to me once... I had to sing the parts to some song backstage... Maybe it was for that play about that orphan... The one with that Orphanage? Anyway, it sucked. I got three lines, and I had to sing all of the songs...

 

this has happened for the last 2 plays, when we did Hercules and when we did Beauty and The Beast....damned disney plays...

 

Hm, I never did a Disney play... The greatest one we ever got to perform, was Moulin rouge. We had to do it off campus, but we got an approved field trip for the whole school to come watch! Now we're doing a Gender Swap version of "The Rose of Versailles."

 

my school was dumb enough to make a musical version of star wars AND give darth vader a wife!

the thought it would be a good production. the middle schoolers ACTUALLY LIKED it! not just that, they also made this emo 8th grader play R2D2...R2D2 got SINGING LINES in the show! since when does R2D2 do anything but go "beep boop beep"!?
