Nintendo Iwata: Xbox Live and PSN are too far developed for Nintendo to catch up

    Not a surprise really. I like the fact that Nintendo does things different though. One of my fears is that WiiU could end up as another PS3 or another Xbox, and the only reason I don't buy an Xbox is because it's too similar to my Playstation to warrent a purchase. Nintendo on the other hand, I'll always buy their consoles because they're truely unique. So while a weak online multiplayer isn't a good thing, I'll still get a WiiU and have blast with it, just like I did with my Wii and my Gamecube. There aren't too many people who do single player games like Nintendo does.

    Everyone is always saying how inferior Nintendo is to Sony and Microsoft the the gaming field, and when the two latter had gained some speed, I was worried for Nintendo, but now I feel like their biding their time, like they've got something great going on.

    It's a smart thing to not try and catch up to the PSN or the XB-Live. I think Nintendo, regardless, will rock it. I'm for sure going to buy the WiiU.
