My friend and I just went to Wal-Mart at midnight to get Final Fantasy XIII. And just by the opening movies and credits, I am astonished at this game. I don't think I'll be having actual human contact for quite some time, everyone. This was so worth it.
I've almost completed the story, but i'm currently training and stuff. They're quite easy to begin with, but seriously, the enemies get insanely powerful! @__@ They can so so so easily kill you very very quickly. But that's why you have the paradigm shift! I must say, i rather like the battle system. You can lazy and let it choose which attacks to use or you can select which you like. Personally, i find the automatic (especially fighting certain enemies) is the wrong choice. xD The game is awfully linear, but it didn't bother me as much as i thought. I've been so drawn in by the story that i just kept playing and playing to find out what happens. The only time you have "side quests" is in chapter 11 which i'm currently at. I'm currently in love with this game. <3 P.S The start of the game is very much like Scooby Doo. "Lets split up and look for clues!" Vanile = Scooby Snow = Freddy Lightning = Daphne Hope = Velma Sahz = Shaggy Fang = Scrappy Especially Vanile and Sahz at times. XD
Oh lol lucky!! Imagine an FF version of Scooby doo... o.o ;D I FINALLY BOUGHT THE GAME! And like Cap'n and Kitty said, it was worth the wait. ;D
...Is Fang a good Scrappy (like, what Scrappy was meant to turn out as) or a bad Scrappy (how Scrappy actually turned out in the end)? (Holy crap, Hope is Velma. I just found pictures of him today and went 'holy crap that's adorable' and now I find out he's Velma. POINTS)
Eh, I'm still getting the game in about a month (Despite me being a Final Fantasy fan). I'm prioritizing another game for now. But nice to know that you guys are liking it.
