I've just seen Dragonball Evultion...

... and it wasn't bad! I've heard so many bad things about it, so I wanted to see it for myself if it actually was that bad. I thought it was a really good film, and I'm surely gonna buy it on dvd when it comes out!

 

Well, it's out in Europe, so I guess it's out in the U.S.

 

Wow, it isn't bad? Now i wanna watch it! o:

 

It has an open ending, so there will most likely be a sequel to the movie!

 

In the trailer he did it with 1 hand. O.O

 

In the movie, the 'kame hame ha' was like an ultimate move. To practice, Goku used it to light lanterns. It looked especially awesome when Goku used it against Picollo in the finale. Never seen a lightshow like that :D

FUN FACT: Goku is played by the same guy who played Pippin from Lord of the Rings xD

If you're a fan of the Dragonball anime, the movie is a bit different. It is still very good if you're a fan of the anime too!

 

Wow. I didn't even know about this... Seems like they're gonna be making a lot of movies based off of anime. Is it any good? I didn't really understand the show, but I might like the movie.​

 

A lot of people say bad things about it, but it's actually a really good film. I say watch it, it's really good.

 

Question. Is the personality of Chatwin the same as Goku from the anime? o:

 

I don't know much about the actor himself, sorry :sweatdrop:
He does play Goku pretty well though.

 

Is Krillin in it?

 

Ah, i see. Well. I guess no-one can imitate Goku. :P He's a one of a kind guy. XD Btw. How was the Piccolo of the movie? Intimidating? Always pissed?

Well, it's really different than the anime... But in a good way!

Krillin isn't in it, nope. Although, I didn't see him.

Btw, Vegeta isn't in it. But I think I understand why. See, the movie isn't based on Dragonball Z. It is based on Dragonball, and Goku met Vegeta after the first saga, so it actually made sense. But I'll stop here before I tell the whole movie xD

 

I'll give it a chance and I'm going to watch it soon, maybe it's really cool after all.

 

Indeed. Although the time is a bit off. Goku was still a 15 year old boy around the King Piccolo saga. And here he's like...a full grown dude. :P

 

I guess I really shouldn't say anything since I never really gave the movie a chance, but this was my experience.

I paid for the ticket. Sat in the theatre. Watched the previews. Watched the first thirty minutes of the movie. Stood up and left.

But hey, that was just me. It just wasn't good... not even just being a movie, let alone based off an actually existing storyline. Sure the effects (or at least what I saw) weren't bad, but the acting to me was just pathetic. Everything seemed forced and ended up awkward. But like I said, that's just my opinion...
