This is a sample of stuff I've done sporadically over many months. I realized I probably had enough to make a post out of them, so here I is :L Quality varies wildly, I am still far from a consistent style rofl.

CnC appreciated of course. Especially on the sig, since it was an experiment. Will try to find sources if asked. (I keep poor track of them, but I get them all the same way so hopefully I can find them again :'D) May also be able to provide .psds for some. Unfortunately, since I've used a lot of these as my avatar in the past I'm reluctant to offer them up to others, but just lemme know if you have your eye on one and we'll see what comes of it.

 

I love all the avatar, but the 5th from the tops my favorite.

I'm not to good with editing myself yet but I feel you're suggy is just.. Plain. Maybe some softer tones and a border will help? Its just a bit too boring to me. ; ;

 

I do love your range of colours combinations in your avatars as they are beautiful. Also, I LOVE THAT SONG! : D NICO VEGA <3

I do feel these ones are a bit red and it doesn't work overly well, even if it does bring up a nice contrast.


As for the signature, yes it is quite simple but I really like it, it's a very interesting experiment and I think it paid off personally. I saw it and just loved the idea. It draws your eye to the bright bit and gives a sense of shading with only two colours- especially the fading bit at the edge.

 

I really do love the stuff you make, Nova. The only one I really have a problem with is this:


I like the placement, but the coloring overpowers it. At least in the other version, there's more white to balance out the pink. Still, these are all really good looking and I'd use them any day.

Pff it was actually an exercise to see how interesting a sig I could make with just brushes and gradients. I appreciate the feedback though, I may revisit it if I figure out something else to do with it.

Mm, yeah those are like the low end of the ones I didn't scrap before posting. I liked the way the overlay played on the color of the hair, but it came at the sacrifice of the face. I like the source image though so I may end up going back to it later.

Hehe, glad the fade worked out 'cause at first it looked really wonky to me.
