Itunes 8.0??????

Okay, so I had an Ipod Classic, got it two years ago. i broke it a week back, and finally got a new one. Same thing, different color. So now, it says I need to download Itunes 8.0. Is this gonna erase my other Itunes???? I have over 900 songs and twenty videos, and I am not able to back up my Itunes. Please help!!!!!!!

 

I'm confident that it won't. Back-up your iTunes library just in case.

I can't, my computer is unable to back it up.

 

Usually when you place a new i-pod in you are not able to sync it with your other one but save the libary that you have. Downloading a new one doesnt delete the songs.

 

if you update from a previous iTunes, it will NOT erase your music/video library, it simply updates the software, that is all.

It won't. As long as it has a back-up. You can check it by going to your iTunes folder (either in your C/ drive or user documents). It's a library file.
