Well I have a proprietorship, and these two "creative side" marketing guys are coming in, so I thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone by winning this competition and advertising my business.
Very simple yet to the point I guess. Not sure what you should add or subtract from this. Maybe more stains?
Interesting. Nice colors and did you make the text effects yourself? They are fitting. I'd like to see a few splatters though, white preferably. And make it a bit lighter, but hold onto the darker parts of the whole thing.
Wabba, this is really simple and good. ^_^ I like the granite effect, and I think the text is really good. =D overall, for a banner, it's really good. I just wanna know, how did you do the granite effect(I've been trying to learn to do that for so long!>.<) and is the text just brushes??
Get a picture of granite as a layer over the layer you want granite-ed, highlight it, right click it and hit "Clipping mask".
I think it looks really cool! It reminds me of carpet, just the way the texture looks. It's simple, but it looks pretty awesome =D.
