    Me: Uhh, Grandma, I don't mean to nitpick, but why do you not put the trash in the trashcan when your done cooking.
    Grandma: *stares me down*
    Me: *walks off* (in my mind: What did I do?)

    There's an invisibly fine line between helpful advice and sounding mouthy.

    Please share your advice blunders!

    I once told my Dad off about eating food at the computer, mostly because he'd leaves crumbs and wrappers and cups and **** all over the place. Not smart...=/

    That happens to me alot.... every time i tell my dad something that actually has a point he's always saying "Don't get smart with me!" but in my head i'm like: 'But i thought you wanted me to get smarter... that's why you send me to school...'
