Kingdom Hearts II Is there an easy cheating method for KHII?

I mean, eeasy easy. Like, not having to buy a gameshark/action replay.
Any?

I want more power boosts.

 

Is there a point in paradox that keeps messing you up? I can't help much with power boosts (it is a simple synth grind afterall), but I might be able to help stratagize the fight.

 

You can synthesize Power Boosts at Moogle Shops. What you'll need:
- Guard Recipe (found in 100 Acre Wood, in the Spooky Cave)
- Mythril Crystal x1 *
- Blazing Crystal x3 (dropped by Crescendo with a 6% chance, Crimson Jazz with a 12% chance)
- Lightning Crystal x 3 (dropped by Armored Knight with a 12% chance, Surveillance Robot 8% chance)
- Lucid Crystal x3 (dropped by Neoshadow with a 8% chance)
- Serenity Crystal x1 (dropped by Assassin with a 4% chance, Berserker with a 4% chance, Samurai with a 4% chance, and Sorcerer with a 4% chance)

* Mythril Crystals are limited in the game, only appearing in treasure chests. You CAN however synthesize however many you'd like if you have it unlocked. It will require:
- Dense Crystal x1 (dropped by Berserker with a 12% chance)
- Dense Gem x1 (dropped by Samurai with a 12% chance)
- Twilight Crystal x 1 (dropped by Sorcerer with a 12% chance)
- Twilight Gem x1 (dropped by Assassin with a 12% chance)
- Serenity Stone x1 (dropped by Crimson Jazz with a 4% chance, Devastator with a 4% chance, Dusk with a 2% chance, Living Bone with a 4% chance, and Morning Star with a 4% chance)

Some quick synthesis tips, because if you haven't payed much attention to synthesis this is going to take you forever:
- Equip Lucky Lucky to every party member multiple times, if available (Sora will only learn it at level 99 if you picked the staff at the Station of Serenity)
- Equip the Sweet Memories Keyblade
- Equip the Meteor Staff
- Equip the Genji Shield)
- Equip a Lucky Ring

If you do just a few of those you'll get them in no time, sometimes the Heartless/Nobodies will drop more than one at a time as well. Also keep in mind that if you collect say 30 Blazing Shards, you'll be able to buy a Blazing Shard from the Moogle shop. 25 Stones will do that, as well as 20 Gems. You can purchase the following types: Blazing, Lightning, Frost, Lucid, Power, Dense, Dark, and Twilight.

That's the only way to get more Power Boosts. I copied a lot out of my guide book so it should be right, if you need to find the Heartless/Nobodies I mentioned just look on the Kingdom Hearts wiki. Have fun, I love synthesizing in KH2. :]

I was actually already doing all of that, except I'm going to max out on Defense Boosts firsts, then Power Boosts.

You can synthesize Defense Boosts too though, if you need info on that I can get it. I love this guide book, best $20 I ever spent. <:

I've fused at least forty defense boosts by now, I'm pretty sure I know how. :P
I don't need a guide book! :O I just use KH Wiki for everything.

 

It is the difference in sections. This was only moved yesterday afterall.

But yeah the only difference between the defense and power boost grinds is the serenity crystals. So you'll be fine. If you need help with anything else let us know. And props if you pull this off, few people have the patience to do stat maxing through synth grind (most people data grind in KH2:FM).
