I've been watching a lot of slippery roads, car crashes, and road rage videos lately, and I've noticed that the worst ones -- for the crashes and rages -- are in Russia.

Here are examples. All the ones in Russia seem the worst.

Don't accuse Russia of being a bad place! If I told my other friend who's from Russia, she'd gladly beat you up for saying these things about her home country.

Because I like these types of videos.

I wasn't saying it was a bad place, I was asking.

I just noticed it seemed to be where the collisions and road rage were worse, that's all. There's no need to get defensive from a simple question.

I'm sorry to any Russians here, I say this jokingly, I can no longer trust a Russian after watching the movie Chernobyl Diaries.

You should be asking, is Russia a bad place for driving?

The answer to that is aye.

Wow, seriously? Just because of a movie you don't trust Russians? Bro--movies are different from the real thing.

To prevent future potential offense, that's a good idea.

Staff, can you add this to the end of the title without the quotation marks (moving the question mark, of course)?

    "for Driving"

I don't think it was the movie that was the joke, more like the reference to the current situation.

I never said the movie was a joke. What I was getting at was what the russians did in the movie is what makes to where I can't trust them. If you ever saw the movie, I would hope you know why I said what I said. But as I stated earlier, I said I jokingly can't trust them. That means that I do trust them, but I was making a reference to the movie. You should really try and read the how post before commenting sir/madam.

I'm beginning to like you a lot. You get me.

It's cool, I find it easy to understand people. I know a good joke when I see one lol

EDIT: This could be misconstrued as an insult, I worded it terribly and i'm sorry . . . but i'm not changing it XD

I don' t think what happens on the road is the ultimate criteria to judge whether a country is bad or not. Besides, those video were uploaded because they' re impressive, all they show is that a guy was filming at the right place and at the right time, that kind of stuff happens in virtually every country that has roads.

I' ve met an African who spent a year in Russia before he came to France, he told me it was so cold there that they sometimes had to start a fire under the car to help the engine to start. More broadly, cold weather definitely makes driving more dangerous.

Russia aside, my parents have spent holidays in a bunch of foreign countries. From their personal experience Cuba was definitely the scariest place to drive (a mix of lousy roads and "peculiar", as in drunk as fuck, driving behavior).

As for myself I spent a week in Italy when I was a teenager, one of the things that struck me the most was the way most Italians completely ignore the traffic lights, they might as well not even be there. My uncle and aunt spent a week in Italy two years ago, they noticed it too.
