Is it easy to tell if a cat is male or female by the sound of its meow?

Just askin cause theres this stray cat and Im p sure its a dude. I've seen it drop by often with another cat, which is a female. How do I know? I dunno.


Can you guys also tell if a cat is a dude or gurl by the pitch of the meow? Does that make sense?

When I'm in my grandma's house I can always tell which sex the meows are coming from. That might be because they're all female cats, though.

 

You can't necessarily tell by the meowing but you can normally tell by the size of the head. Male's heads are on average comparably larger than female's. Or you could go with @drugs idea and check what's under the hood, js.
