Kingdom Hearts Is it actually pureblood?

I have looked everywhere and can't find the emblem on a barrel or pot spider heartless even though its called an emblem heartless. Can anyone help me by showing me where the embelem is. Also is the spider the heartless or is the pot/ barral with legs a hearless?

 

Maybe it's the spider inside the barrel/pot that's the heartless, not the barrel/pot itself. Maybe that's why you can't see the emblem?

 

I'd like to think the barrel/pot was also part of the Heartless, since that bit also dissolves into darkness when you kill it. But yeah, emblem on the inside?

I'd like to hear about the guy who discovered that, if it's true. =D

Very good question.
While it lacks a emblem, I always though it was one. I would find it odd to see one of those randomly in the realm of darkness. Also the pot centipede, has one on it's head.
Though it's possible though that these maybe a type of possessor or have a body under the pot, and only use the pot as protection and a disguise.
The KH1 journal implies something of the sort

Pots lack hearts, so it's likely there's something inside the pot.
My only question that will solve this once and for all is, Does it release a heart when killed? That will settle this once and for all. I looked at the fight on YouTube of the pot centipede and it seems only munny comes out of it. Though this might just be a boss fight element.

 

Get back to me on that subject if you can I really wanna know. I looked on KH Wiki it lables a barrel and pot spider as emblem heartless... If they are WHERE IS THE EMBLEM!?

 

You realize that non-Heartless barrels also disappear when struck, right?

I think you guys are over-thinking this. The Heartless probably has an emblem on its actual body and that is just being obscured by whatever contains it. As much as it would be entertaining if there was nothing inside but some eldritch monstrosity never beheld by the eyes of mortal man, it's probably just a minor oversight in design. Although it does give me a good idea for a 'fic'...

 

Or maybe the pot was posessed by darkness of some sort. We never know...

I'd assume it's on the thing that's controlling/inside of/posessing the pot.

 

I checked too. Pot Cetepede, Pot Spiders, Pot Scorpions (FM), and Barrel Spiders all release hearts. And as a double check I looked up some pureblood kills and no hearts (just to make sure that was a mechanic they had in KH1). So they are defintely emblem heartless. So, with the lack of emblems on the outside of them (except centipede) to be seen it has to be on the inside. I'm sorry that there isn't any way to show it but there you have it

I saw some, though some of the pots are the body of the centipede so I'm not sure that they all had hearts.

 

I guess we aren't going to get a better answer that we already have are we? So to sum up Barral spiders and its counter parts Are emblem Heartless and the emblem must be inside the barral or pot since we can't acctually see it
