Is calling myself a noob an insult?

Seriously though I am a kh-noob. Is that an insult calling myself that?

Because I know nothing about it and I joined a forum about something I know nothing about. :blink:

 

You dont know anything about KHV or anything about KH? Cuz, if you dont know anything about KH then why are you here. But, its okay if you really dont. I've met a couple of people here who dont even like KH.

 

"Noob" is derogatory. It'd be more accurate to call yourself a "newb."

Well that isn't bad at all. There are plenty of users here that join for other reasons other than KH. You just gotta find that place where you, and your personality and likes fit in. And I'm sure you'll find it.

Oh, people have the power to insult/hurt themselves. It all connects to a low self-esteem issue that I have sometimes.

True. But some people I have seen, can take that stuff offensively. Some people refer to it as "stupidity" I see it as "ignorance". But that simply means-one who has not yet learned something. The "yet" being the main crooks here.

Dear me, I can't remember why I'm posting here again...

 

A better insult is "you use the word 'noob.'"

 

I do it every now and then, and it's usually in a joking, if self-deprecating way. Personally I don't find it offensive at all, but mileage may vary.
