lol, that is rather amusing. What's even more funny is people figured out it was doctored so quickly. Maybe it was to make the Iran people all proud and now probably some are irate that it was figured out. Not that one missile being fired in the doctored pic matters so much.

Yeah... Why exactly is this such a big deal? It obviously is not the actual event that is important, so is it more of a "they should not have done this" thing?

 

What's really sad is that... that's a pretty good shoop.

 

I think Iran is taking itself too seriously. One missle isn't going to make a difference. I mean, if they all failed, then that's worth at least some fibbing, but even then there's no point in doctoring an image.

 

It really is that easy to decieve a whole country. Just making people think we have more troubles than we actually do is childs play.

 

how do you tell what is fake and what is not? the fake looks like it could be real........

 

The fake looks fake enough for me. It follows the exact same type of dust/gas cloud at the bottom of two missiles, not to mention the weird light space around the fake makes it look a bit off. But this could be the tip of the iceberg, next thing we know they'll be Rick Rolling us.

The fake one, the second one looks obvious from the bottom...

And I agree, it is a good photoshop... Shame they had to use it for political reasons...​

 

that is kinda funny ^^ why would they have to do that ? ...it wouldn't make a difference ..the missile might be a bit late

 

The reason it was faked would be for national pride. The government obviously believes that the people's faith in their county is wavering, so even one missle failing would be an admission of weakness and failure.

Just being obsessed with image, it being such an important thing these days (i.e. looking stong and capable is as important as actually being strong and capable)

 

Yes, I'm sure now that they -may- know the photo was doctored, it gives them more pride. lol

 

It may not only be pride, but a governmental perfectionism xD As in, they feel like they have to do it completely right the first time so as to seem successful and strong.

3 of 4 worked so 75% of the total rockets would still work, still they're not worth to trust and I just this Iran should be one of the most welfared and most proud countries of the Middle East and I would like to have the Shah back but the last shah was being a total arsehole to the people of Persia and being USA's ***** and giving less respect to his people and that's the reason why there was a revolution. I don't see any differents except the new gouverment is more anti-US and anti-Israel.
