iPod question

    my dad bought me an ipod. i have a question though? is the small version of the ipod able to watch video on. if so, do i have to get it from itunes, or can i get it from websites.
    ie: ninja warrior podcasts from g4

    Usually I would first download of of Bearshare or some place where you can get vids and download it into Itunes.Then into your ipod, but I never tried downloading off of a website before.

    How you can tell...
    New one is more of a square shape, and the old one is more of a long rectangle.

    Do you know what the actual name is?

    It's most likely an old nano, so you cant have video.

    edhjfaodfje.....before you go putting firm ware onto the ipod, you can download movies and what not how ever you want. But the better way to do this is just to get a file compressor that will compress the video/movie file into one that fits on the ipod. I used Isquint but I have a mac I don't know about you. Try that first just google ipod video file compressor, then you just send that to itunes.
