No Thanks Invisiblity Status

Back on vBulletin, there were two ways to tell if you were invisible:

1. There was an asterisk next to your username in the WGO box on the forum index
2. A yellow status circle -- instead of the green online status circle when you were online -- in the postbit

I personally felt that the first one was easy to oversee and you'd forget you were invisible, which is where the postbit one was useful.

For XenForo, there is only way one way, which is that your username is italicized on the forum list. In my opinion, this can be very easy to oversee and can be especially "problematic" for those that don't plan on being invisible forever.

Would it be possible to add a status indicator on the postbit for when you have invisibility enabled? When you're online and invisible, instead of it saying Online, have it be an orange-yellow background with Invisible. Only you and staff would be able to see this, of course.

And I'm assuming it works just like on vBulletin where the staff see that as well?

 

Yeah, that's what we see for invisible members. Other than staff, the grey bar is only visible to you.
