Inuyasha and the Sacred Journey

Story ~ 1996, Kagome Higurashi and Toji Ishida, two childhood friends, are pulled into ancient well at Kagome's family shrine by a demon on the day of Kagome's birthday. When they climb out, they discover that they have been transported back in time to the Feudal Era and come across a half-demon dog named Inuyasha. When they are captured by a nearby village, they meet with Keade, the village priestess, and meet the demon again. Inuyasha awakes up as Kagome and Toji run back into the forest and aids them in the demon's defeat as they learn their capture was for the Sacred Jewel, sealed inside Kagome's body.

The two friends find out that they are the reincarnations of Kikyo, Keade's sister and priestess, and Toshia, a former army soldier and Kikyo's partner. During a attack by another demon, Kagome shatters the Jewel into many pieces, starting the journey to receive and remake the Sacred Jewel.

Got it memorized? This is basically Inuyasha with the addition of OCs, so there will be changes though we will try to follow the series, and separate threads will be made for the movies.

Yes, there can be OC's who join the gang on the journey for the jewel shards or can become evil and seek the shards.

This isn't rated M, people, so romance is included, but keep at PG-13

No-no godmodding, most of the main characters are human and even the strongest demon can't get away from snatch, but they can retreat. Must have permission for your character to be revived by Naraku to get the shards.

Bio: The reincarnation of the warrior Toshia, Toji has been by Kagome's side since they met in kindergarten. He respects her female group of friends and denies any romantic relationship between them. Quick and fast, Toji is excellent at sports and is part of the basketball team. When he found out he was the reincarnation, Toji wasn't sure what to believe and chose to stay by his friend. There is a uneasiness between him and Inuyasha and he tries to not to talk about the Feudal Era at school.

Weapon: Commands the Wind Spirits but he can invoke the full power of the cntract for five minutes as the human body isn't meant to harness such power.

Bio: Layana was born in the Demon Slayers village around the same year as her family's friend's son Kohaku. Her parents died when an illness passed through the village when she was young. She lived with Sango and Kohaku's family until the battle at Naruku's Castle. Layana ran away from the battle in fear and laterfound out that all those who went to the battle were dead(She thought Sango and Kohaku were too) She traveled until she came a pound Inuyasha's group group and was happily surprised to see that Sango was alive.
While she thinks of Sango as a sister she does have a crush on Kohaku.
Appearance: Layana has dark brown hair with hazel brown eyes. She is about the same height as Kohaku. In battle she wears the same thing as Sango expect in Red. It is the same concept when she is not in battle but of course in red. I hope to be able to ask my friend to draw me a picture soon but I'm not sure xD

Bio: originally a tourist from America he was sucked into the feudal era from a different location but there is one issue he was brought in from another year than kagome he is from the year 2011 and since he can only go back to 1996 he decided to stay. He had heard about humans being able to absorb demons for power he did this with a single weak demon and kept going until the numbers grew into the thousands or more, he lost count. He soon after took over a struggling village and brought it into prosperity using his knowledge from history to put it about 10 years ahead. one day he found a chunk of the sacred jewel (about a 20th) and put it into himself now he rules the village as the benevolent lord Kyos and always protects it, if demons attack he gets stronger due to constantly absorbing them, the jewel keeps him from being completely vulnerable during his weak period. He is usually visited by Naraku who requests his shards and his demons but Naraku will not usually attack him because of his power.

Bio: Abe No Seimei was born with an exceptional intelligence level, able to speak when he was only a few months old. This was because his father, Abe no Yasuhino was married to Kuzunoha, a yoko in human form that his father rescued from demons. He was also young when he saw his mother's true nature, he saw the shadow of a fox one night on his door. The next morning, his mother was gone. He searched all over..but he only entered to find his father quite paled. Learning that his mother left him, Seimei was saddened. As he grew, he learned more into his powers as a half fox demon, being able to summon spirits and create powerful barriers, even going as far as telekinesis. His brilliant mind made him the 'father of Onmyodo'. For many years, he had been shifting between the feudal and the present era. He is a complete enigma, but he seems to sympathize more with Inuyasha, seeing his methods as peaceful, than with Naraku, whose methods are destructive.

OOC: Well then, I say lets get this show on the road. And we'll be starting with Yura of the Hair.

BIC: A calm wind blew through the land as a young girl with long brown hair was bathing in a lake. She felt the wind and said, shaking, "Th-th-th-th-this--- is--- freezing!!!" On the shore, a elder woman with a eye patch over her right eye was helping a young boy get dressed with his back to the girl as he didn't want to be a pervert. The boy was dressed in the robes of a warrior and the woman was dressed as a priestess, helping the boy finish, the woman turned to the fire that was made and turned to the girl.

"Come out, Kagome. Don't force yourself," she said, tending to the fire as the boy sat down, his back still to the girl named Kagome.

Turning to the woman, Kagome said, "No way! Toji and I are covered in blood 'n' mud 'n' demon slime and I can't stand it anymore!!!!" She started to wash herself, the boy named Toji sighed, having bathed earlier. He didn't think there was a time before hot baths and warmed himself up by the fire. While diving underneath the surface, Kagome thought the task that had been placed upon her, Toji, and another person. They were to find the shattered pieces of the Sacred Jewel, which was revealed to be hidden inside Kagome.

But neither of them knew how to do it and the other person was like an animal. When she resurfaced and was about to get out, she noticed someone staring at her naked body. After a few moment of silences, she shouted, "Sit, boy!!!!!" Toji sighed as the person, another boy with long white hair and dog ears, fell to the ground.

 

A young man wearing a light red robe casually sat on his legs with hands on the ground, almost like a dog, his unaturally white long hair draped over his shoulders but what was the most notable things were yellow eyes, his dog ears, twitching up and down as aroudn hsi neck were some beads that were magically sealed upon him, his fingernails were also more pointy and sharpened, the other strange thing was his feet had nothing on them, just beign plain barefooted as he saw the the woman emerge from underneath teh water and he saw the curves of her developing figure or perhaps it already was and down below, he cuaght what was a glimpse of hairs before before he heard the woman shrieked and buried her form udner the water before crying out two words and the man's beads reacted to this command then pulled him down over the small cliff and onto the stone hard rubble.

 

"So, see anything good?" Toji asked the fallen young man, reaching into a small bag. "Or were you trying to get this shard of the jewel?" He held a light pink shard in his hand, "Well, too bad. We're keeping them for now!" "I knew you're an animal, but this......" Kagome had gotten out of the water and was dressed in the priestess robes Keade had given her. With her hair in a ponytail, she almost looked exactly like Kikyo and Toji gave a strong resemblance to Toshia in his robes. Putting their wet uniforms on stick, Kagome and Toji began to dry their clothes.

 

The young man pulled lightly at the beads he wore around his neck. "Damn, I forgot about these." he said with irritation and was asked the question by Toji. "What is there to look at?" He stated, sitting cross-legged until he saw kagome in her priestess robes and blinked once. "Kikyo..." He thought to himself, seeing the definite resemblance between them.

 

Toji sighed at the man's answer, "You're just so predictable, Inuyasha." One of the women from the village came and asked Keade to heal her sick daughter as Toji noticed the look on his face. Before she left, she asked that Kagome and Inuyasha not try to fight. Toji waved and sighed, thinking to himself, 'We can't make any promises.' "So, why the face, Inuyasha?" He said, smiling. "Does she look so much like Kikyo?"

 

Inuyasha turned away. "None of your damned business human." He said in response to Tioi and stared at Kagome. "Hey you." He said, arms crossed in irritation and heard her response to his words and he spoke. "Get undressed." he said seriously, not even being embarassed at all at what he just said.

 

Kagome couldn't believe what she just heard. Grabbing the nearest rock she could find, she hit Inuyasha hard over the head with it. "You're an animal!!!!!!!!!" She shouted, Toji sighed, hiding his face in his hand and knowing what she said wasn't far from the truth, Inuyasha was a dog demon from the looks of it. "I guess you didn't have any shame when you said that. But saying that so bluntly is something else............." He said.

 

Inuyasha held his head a noticble bump had quickly formed from the said rock that Kagome had in her grasp "I didn't mean get naked stupid! I meant change into those weird clothes you were wearing before!" He said, pointing at kagome's hung school uniform to emphazize his point, why woudl he want to see her like that again anyways, she wans't that interesting anyway.

 

"Why, because these make me look like Kikyo?" Kagome asked, pointing to her outfit. Toji stretched the back of his head and smiled, grabbing his school uniform and feeling they were dry. He turned to Kagome and Inuyasha, then he sighed and grabbed the sword Keade left for him and put at his hip.

 

Inuyasha just responded. "You just irritate me from wearing that thing!" He said in a annoyed tone.

A blue jacket wearing male took a step forward on the dirty ground as his white trainers gathere dup some of it whiel his hands remained in his pocket, his brown hair spiky hair swaying so slightly from the wind and his brown eyes before hearing a rustle come from the bushes nearby, it was a insect demon, most likely a grasshopper by it's looks as it spoke. "You look like a fine meal!" It said and the man merely gave a cocky smirk. "Really now? I thought my bones could be too crunchy for your tastes." He simply answered and the demon went leapt forward without any worry until a gust of wind in a form of a crescent smacked dead into the demon, flinging him back

"Man, you must be too light for such a gentle breeze to stop you from dinner or lunch...or breakfast, whatever time fo the day it is for you." He commented and the grasshopper demon forced power into his legs by bending down and leapt at the man to create a powerful tackle but a squre wind appeared in front of the demon and met with it, making no contact whatsoever, but he didn't have his hands out at all.

"Okay, i think I had enough of playing nice."He said and another crescent blade fo wind shot forward and the demon was sliced right down the middle in a instant. "Huh, by increasing the rate of speed the wind is going and focusing it, it'll turn into a sharp blade." he commented and continued walking, the man's hands never once left his pockets

 

Toji and Kagome both thought, 'Is he a demon or a junior high kid?' Toji said to Inuyasha, "You know, if you can't acted just a little more, I don't know, friendly, this is never going to work out. But I'm sure that's fine with someone as cocky as you." "You're right, Toji-kun." Kagome said, grabbing her uniform. "See you later. We're heading home." Toji sighed and walked with her, heading for the well they climbed out of.

 

"Hey stupid!" Inuyasha called after Kagome but she left and he just gave a annoyed sigh. "Fine, get back home, see if I care." he sat up to smell the air. "You couldn't get back home before so I don't need to worry about you coming back." He said and started walking back to Kaede's village, arms hidden underneath the sleeves of his kimono.

 

Kagome sighed as she and Toji headed for the well. Setting their uniforms beside the well, they looked inside and saw the bones of the centipede demon from a few days earlier. They remembered that the well was the dumping ground for dead demons and Toji gulped. When the two heard and saw a bird cut in half, Kagome's cheek was suddenly cut and Toji noticed hair everywhere as did Kagome. "La, so you can see it, can you..... My 'hair' net?" A young woman in a black outfit appeared, smiling. It seemed she was the one who was controlling the hairs, she said, "Though simply seeing it won't do you much good." "Who are you?!" Kagome shouted.

"Yura of the Hair, though I won't be offended if you don't remember it because your life is about to end!!!" Yura lifted her arms and her hairs slashed at Kagome and Toji who managed to pull his sword, but the hair won't cut and Toji dropped his sword to the ground. Some of the hairs managed to get the bag with the shards from Toji, Yura looked at the shard in surprise, Toji tried to get it back but Yura attacked again and the two friend fell into the ground. When Yura threw her sword into the well and pulled it out, she discovered they had vanished. She couldn't help but wonder, who were those two?

When Keade was examining the girls, they suddenly began to float in the air and attacked their families. Keade noticed they were being controlled by strands of hair, but was attacked. Then they began to attack Inuyasha, who arrived in the village.

 

Inuyasha smelled blood, human to more exact in the direction of Kaede's village and he bolted quickly to that direction to see levitating people and he creaked his hands, making clicking noises as he noticed one of the villagers tryign to attack him. "You guys wanna take me on, sure, I ain't complaining!" He said with a grin.
