    It looks like this. ^

It's like a DBE in that it slows me down and makes me double post.

It usually only comes later at night. (It's 1am here.)

I'm not sure if anyone else has gotten it, but yeah. It just happened quite a few times to me.

I thought it was just my internet connection acting up xDx

But yeah, I got it too, been getting it for about an hour now I think (currently 3:35 CST/GMT-6).

I haven't gotten the official error shown up, but it HAS slowed this thing to the point it takes a long time to post, and usually i double post. Been happening for the last 2 hours from now.

I got it once last night as well. If it was just last night then it's not too big a deal, worth looking into but technology always has hiccups. If you guys see it again please let us know.

Yeah, I encountered that yesterday, too.
A simple refresh fixed it, though.

An "Internal Server Error" is an error on the web server, meaning it has nothing to do with you. It means that the server is misconfigured in some way that is preventing it from responding properly to what you're asking for (Search, in this case, it seems, I'm guessing that the server provider may adjust the bandwidth at times when traffic is low).

Perhaps, you should let Tienewman know about this, Misty? Because as users, there's nothing we can do. It's on the site owner. (I've seen it a couple of times)

    Most common errors (Google, yay)
    - An error in a cgi script that caused it to fail or output an error message before it started producing valid HTML. It happens to me all the time if I have a syntax error in one of my Perl cgi scripts.

    - A permissions issue attempting to access a cgi script. Depending on how your web server is configured, quite often it's not enough for the script to have "execute" permission, but it must also be owned by the correct user, and belong to the correct group. I can't tell you what that should be, since it varies widely from server to server (and even site to site on the same server). My best recommendation is to look at the attributes of a script that's working, and copy that.

They're pretty common errors but, as I said, sometimes technology just has a hiccup. It's worth addressing if it continues to happen, but if we get this error like... once a year that's what's covered by the rule of five nines. I will of course let him know but I doubt this is a "omg the server is broken" type deal, haha.

I know they are common, and yes, technology has as many errors as functional functions (Horrible choice of words). What I meant was that since there is a fault in the code, even if it isn't urgent, he should give it a look when he has some time, simply because there is an error (a minor one). (I have been indoctrinated by coding that even if something is minor, it's still something that should be looked at.) It doesn't really affect me though, I'm just a ****** when it comes to technology errors ;]

Yeah, I've been getting this error for a while (usually that late at night). It's not so common that it's made me want to flip tables or anything, but it has happened to me on other nights.

I just thought I should mention something now since it happened a bunch last night in a row.

I just wanted to make a note that I just got an internal server error.
Refreshing the page made it load, though.

Wasn't 100% sure where to put this, but earlier on today (approximately 15:30 GMT) KHV gave me a Database error, as well as an Internal Server Error after a couple of retries. It lasted about 10-15 minutes.
I'm presuming this was just another small hiccup, but thought it should be mentioned.

I've done a few things that will hopefully stop the errors, let me know if you're still getting them.

    Yeah, they've been popping more.
However, I haven't gotten any since your post.

Then again, I wasn't online when you posted, so who knows? Haha!
Last ISE for me was around 12:14 AM PST yesterday.

I got one about half an hour ago, but it just took a refresh and it was fine again.

    Just a small update.

No ISEs lately, but I keep getting slow loading times.
For example, a few minutes ago, it took 20.03 seconds to load the "What's New?" page from the usual 0.01 to 0.04 seconds.
