Interest Check: The Interest Check Thread

I'll make this quick. I have two RP ideas I want to try out but I don't have time to make both and if I do make one, I might not want to run it alone. Plenty of locked threads in the original section but I at least want to try and give it one active thread with some help.

AUTOBOTS. ROLL OUT.

Idea 1: Superheroes. In the future, people are born with powers. An existing world government(or probably just the UN) is quick to adapt to changing times and makes many laws and regulations regarding "powereds". One of which being that anyone born with powers must have a chip implanted to inhibit their powers to a minimal level. The only way to access their full power is through a registration process leading to a "Hero license" in order to gain a super suit(WHERE'S MY SUPERSUIT?) that will allow for full use of their powers so long as it is being worn. Of course, the license requires powers to be used for the good of the community. Overall, it's a bit more of a realistic take on superpowered people. With some comic book flair of course because, come one, super powers!
Inspired by a cyoa game/short novel series called Heroes Rise.


Idea 2: Final Fantasy inspired. Admittedly, I have less of a clear idea of where to go on this one. @Boy Wonder gave me the idea of making something that goes along the lines of...
People are born under "signs". Astrological but rather than being entirely irrelevant they would determine the innate magic powers people would possess. Instead of having things like a "gemini" or "leo" there would be things like "Ifrit" or "Shiva". As per Final Fantasy convention, there would be crystals and an organized religion of sorts protecting them. One person from this religion would be designated to a crystal. One per crystal. If one were to die, their title and bond to that crystal would pass on to the next person designated to be that crystal's guardian. If all in their line die, the crystal would release a beast being contained within that would wreak havoc. If all of them die, then...well I'm sure you catch my drift. Naturally, there would be a faction dedicated to seeing these beasts set free for what they believe to be noble reasons.
