If you dont know what that is let me give you some examples. If your a guy your wife and your mom dont agree with each other. Your mom dislikes being in the same room as your wife. Your mom and your wife get into frequent fights. If your a girl the mother of your husband is being a total b---h to you no matter how hard you try to have her trust or her friendship. She doesn't think your right or fit to be married with her son, things like that. Pretty much like how I explained above. I remember reading a manga Karin/Chibi Vampire and Karin's mother and her grandmother hate each other that they want the other dead. So I wonder if they exist or if they are common in real life. What do you guys think? Are there some in-law rivalry in your family?
Yes this is very real, mainly because the mother-in-law feels like she is losing a child so she resents her son/daughter-in-law for having the love of their daughter/son... I know this because before getting married my ex-mother-in-law did something really stupid to get attention because everyone else was busy with the wedding (I'll respect her and won't say what she did) but after she did it and I got to hers I heard her say "I'm losing my son" at that time the best man at my wedding looked up at me knowing I had heard what was said then I left the room. So yeah it's real.
