Cooking bacon in the microwave is surprisingly efficient and tasty when you have paper towels and your pans are all near-permanently out of commission.

 

im not allowed to have bacon in the house.

 

Microwaving jaffa cakes is fun.

Microwaving spoons is not so fun.

 

This has been known for decades.

 

This is how I cook my bacon. You don't have to worry about splattering and grease burns that way.

I thought everyone already knew this / did this sometimes.

I prefer to cook it on the skillet but cook it more often in the oven because less clean up and still at least grade B+ outcome. Also better for making candied bacon, yum. I only resort to the microwave if I'm in a hurry or am cooking turkey bacon. ​

There are lots of different ways to make it, it all depends on what you want to do. o: But it's basically brown sugar and bacon. What I do is pop some bacon in the oven for a bit and take it out when it's almost done and sprinkle it with brown sugar / turn the slices before putting it back in until it's done. It's sweet and salty and wunderbar. ヾ(＠°▽°＠)ﾉ

One time I marinated the bacon in maple syrup for a bit before the oven + sugar and that was great too. Some people like to pepper it as well.

It's also called pig candy. ​

I don't care for bacon. It's not the taste that gets me it's the texture. Don't try to figure out how my brain works, I still don't understand it >.<
