I'm pumped for Kingdom Hearts 3

When Sora somehow manages to get Aqua out of the Realm of Darkness, (Which lets be honest that's probably going to happen in KH3, same for saving Terra and awakening Ventus)

I would like to see Aqua's face, like "I remember you, you're that boy... From the Island" Or whatever :P

 

Aqua is probably going to assume Sora is Vanitas so that they can have a boss fight for that area

 

That's possible.

Aqua could also mistaken Roxas for Ventus.

 

Roxas joined with Sora at the end of KH2. Unless Nomura pulls some mystical KH magic to make it so that Roxas separates from Sora (which is totally possible) she, or anybody else, won't see him.

 

Aqua knows that Vanitas was an outgrowth of Ven, so I doubt she would mistake Sora for him. She's already met Sora and commented on his resemblance to Ven. I'd love to see her recognize the (grown up) Sora, but more so, I think it's inevitable that she'll sense Ven's heart inside of him.

 

you forget that Aqua meets Sora and Riku and she doesn't think he looks like Vanitas, she also saw that Terra passed on his keyblade to Riku and since its the same keyblade she will recognize that it isn't Vanitas

He also was like four then. He looks JUST like Vanitas now. (Minus the eyes/hair color)

PRETTY sure only Ventus saw Sora's face on Vanitas....

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not really excited for kh3 because we already know what's expected to happen so there's not really gonna be any suspense or surprise to it. Basically we know what's gonna happen next.

Although it would be neat if Aqua is a boss battle to test Sora's strength.

When Aqua fights Vanitas, he has Ven's face
Not Sora's

 

Oh, I thought that was because Ven and Vanitas fused back together? Because after she fights him, and everything happens, she takes his body and takes it to castle oblivion.. so with your logic, that means that it's actually Vanitas that's at CO.. ?

Vanitas is a part of Ventus
During the end of BBS, Vanitas and Ven fuse together. Inside his heart, Ven fights Vanitas, and his true face is revealed: Sora's.
What Aqua sees, if Vanitas with Ven's face. Technically it's just Ventus' body with Vanitas' mind in control, but anyways
Ultimately, Ven sacrifices himself to kill Vanitas
Aqua takes Ven's body to Castle Oblivion, but neither Ventus nor Vanitas are in that body anymore

 

While we know Xehanort will be defeated and all, I wouldn't say there won't be any suspense. We still have a lot of unanswered questions and things to solve;how does simply having 7lights/13 darknesses fight forge the X-blade, who are the other 6-7 Norts, how will Sora revive Roxas/Xion, how will they save Terra, etc.

Plus, a rather common theme in KH since the beginning has been achievement through sacrifice. I highly doubt Sora/Riku/Kairi or Donald/Goofy will get the axe, but other characters (Terra and Eraqus especially) don't have the same level of more or less guaranteed luxury of Post Xehanort Saga plot armor.
