*Doesn't watch sports* I hate to watch sports on TV. I'll catch a few minutes here and there to see where my team's standing, but other than that I'd rather be doing something else. I find it's much better to play the sports rather than watch them.
I don't really watch sports either. Sure, I'll play a game every once in a while, but watching is boring and I don't find the interest in it. For every big game, I celebrate by doing something completely opposite of it, meaning watching anime and listening to musicals.
I caught the beginning of the game tonight, didn't stick around long enough to see how it ended. I don't care who wins cause I do not care for either of the teams that are in the Stanley cup finals this year
We in Chicago were chasing the lead for most of the game, but we scored twice in the last two minutes for a final score of 2-3 and giving us the fourth win for the cup.
Shamefully, as a hockey fan and as a Chicagolandian, I missed the game. Now I wish I could be partying with my friends downtown but no, I'm here. BUT STILL YEAH BLACKHAWKS!
Ah sweet good for you guys. It has been so long since either of the teams I root for have got the Stanley cup. Close one year, got to game 7 and that was a lot of fun cause half the town was downtown watching the game but no cup that year
We did win the cup in 2010, but the most recent before that was 1961 so I feel your pain on waiting for the cup. Well sorta. I don't follow it really. Just city pride and entertaining my family's interests.
I have no idea when the last time the Canucks won the cup was but I know I was still young when the Oilers did last. When I was 10 or 11 they made it to game 7 of the finals and put up a decent fight for it. I think 2010 was also when the Canucks made it to the finals and where beat out, which sucks but it was still a fun year.
