I'm downloading Final Fantasy VII

O_o... Longest I had was 215 minutes. Are you downloading this on a PSP?

 

Yep. I have horrible wireless.

 

Well, I'd guess plugging it into the charger and waiting. OR, you could go somewhere with said PSP that has better wireless like a cafe or something like that and waiting there.

 

You gotta let me know how that game turns out.

 

Final Fantasy VII is seriously the most overrated game of all time in my opinion. I mean it is a good game and the graphics were amazing in the day. But best game ever? I think not.

This is just me anyways, I never really was crazy with Nomuras FF designs; as I preferred Yoshitaka Amano's designs much more.

 

You need FFIX. Much better than emo-man and his sword.

 

But I don't like monkey people fighting men in tights.

I loved FFIX. That was my favorite one so far. I actually have IX and VII with the black box.

 

I agree. The original is the killer app for the PS1 and Crisis Core is amazing, but those are the only two games in the entire compilation that hold any relevance to each other. Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus are little more than fillers designed to keep it going for way longer than necessary.

FFVII Relevant Plot Summary
Zack meets Cloud.
Zack saves Genesis.
Zack gives Buster Sword to Cloud.
Zack dies, leaving Cloud to carry on his legacy.
Cloud starts to believe he was in S.O.L.D.I.E.R.
The rest of FFVII minus all the sidequests.

 

Dirge of Cerberus was fun ;~;

and Advent Children was an "okay" movie.

 

Dirge of Cererbus was the first FF game I ever played. LOLDON'TKILLME. I'm one of the people that got in FF after KH. I just picked up a random FF game in the rental store.

 

They are good. But they are unnecessary.

@Reptar: I did the same thing. DoC was the first FF game I played all the way through. Then I played Crisis Core and then the original FFVII and realized that both it and Advent Children added nothing relevant to the series.

As a matter of fact, that same rental store is selling their PS2 games 5 for 11 dollars, I might buy FFX and stuff from there... sadly they took SotC fff.
