So I guess you guys heard of the Jokela's and Kauhajoki's school shooting at Finland TrueKeybladeMaster told about them in his thread I think it was at the next day after what happened in Kauhajoki, someone wrote the date 7.11.08 to one of my school walls... The Jokela incident happened in 7.11.07 so some students thought that it would be a threat. The teachers said that you don't have to come to school at friday if your parents give you a permission. My parents would want me to stay at home... So what do you guys think? Should I go to school or stay home? Its probably just a sick joke, but still... Some from my class said that they are coming 'cause there is cops, but today my teacher said that there wont be any of them...
I think I would stay home... just to be on the safe side of things. It could be just a joke, or it could be a threat.
I'd stay home, it's certainly the action least likely to get you hurt. If nothing happens you've gotten a day off school, something happens you're safe.
In this case, though it seems like you are giving the idiot who wrote it exactly what they want, I would suggest staying at home. It is better to be safe than sorry. I know that I personally would stay at home. The last thing anyone wants is a repeat incident.
I personally think it's a sick joke, but if it scares you, I think you should stay home. I have a feeling, if the shooting happens and the shooter has decided his victims, you're not one of them. Who would wanna kill a sweet puppy dog-eyed sweetheart like you? So yeah, stay home. It probably wont happen in my opinion, but you'll get a day off school, anyways!

You should stay home. Something like this happened a few years ago at my old school..... One of the people in my class wasn't at school for a few days... about a month later, the teachers found out the kid was dead... In your case it might be a joke, but I would defenatley stay home. I don't want you to end up like the kid from my old school.
I know.... that's why you really should stay home. Even if it's just a threat, it's better for you to stay home and have it turn out to be a just a threat then for you to go and find out it's not just a threat...

I would think it's just someone being lame. I'd probably just go to school but if you are that scared, you can obviously just stay home whether or not your teacher thinks it's serious or not. Every kid is entitled to take a couple days off now and then. Just make sure your parents are with the idea of you staying home and that they write you a note for the day after. Some people live to see the reactions of fear from others and they do this lame stuff. It most likely is harmless but seriously, if your parents will be supportive of just skipping the day, go for it.
If you don't want to go, then don't. Better safe than dead I say. The whole episode in Finland was all over the news for a pretty long time where I live since I live in one of the countries that are pretty close. It's horrible, and even if there's little chance it'll happen, it's better not to give it the oppertunity to happen. And about the teacher forcing e_b to go, well she can't. Like Repliku said, every child is entitled to their rights, and if there's a rumor about a gunman running around at school, she's got no right to keep you there.
My school day would start in just 5 minutes... But I decided I'm not going no matter what they say. I was actually gonna go, but when my mom told me how scared she would be, I decided I can't. She's going through a really rough time, and I don't want her stressing over me if there's other options. Plus I get the day off school!
