"I'll love you forever"

A young couple about 5000 years ago took this quite serious, and died while hugging each other. There bodies were fossilized together and are no inseperable. An eternal embrace if you will.

The skeletons were found in Italy recently, wuite a coincidence since Valentines day is coming up. Anyone care to "Aww" and "Ohhhh" at this, or better yet discuss?

This is one of those extremely rare occasions. But seeing as they were fossilized is even better. =P

That is so sweet, knowing they died together in each others arms, it sounds like the best ending to a beautiful love story

 

Perhaps they couldn't take being separated while alive, and stayed together like Romeo and Juliette? Now that would be romantic.......awwww!:)

 

Actually, it said they were found near Verona, the city where Romeo and Juliet lived...O.o

To be honest, I can't quite think of something else to say on the matter.

 

That's spooky. Nice thought that Shakespeare was inspired. A fictional love story and a real one. Verona must be romantic.

 

That is rather sweet. But I guess the reason they died together was probably due to a disaster of something like that, and they were clinning onto each other for their lives, or wanted to die together in the disaster after realising there was no escape.

or maybe they were siamese twins, and during the disaster, they kept falling all over eachother in the hurry, and were instantly killed when the disaster reached them.

I myself think that is weird or creepy. It doesnt matter how much I like my girlfriend I wouldnt wanna die next to hear

 

Yea, I read this story. It was a pretty interesting one. That just goes to show you that not all of mankind sucks. Its kind of sad in a way. But on a more funnier note, not sure if its been said yet, maybe they were strangling each other?
