    Canned replies basically let members store pre-set font and text settings so they don't have to type it manually.
    Which I guess is useful for people that super customize it beyond color. >>

    Or for people who want to be more picky about their text color and are too lazy to memories the HEX code.

    It is a shame that you need to submit it like a post though. I shouldn't comlain since I don't really plan to use them, but having to imput text inorder for it to be saved is slightly annoying.
