like a paper cut or something
    do you let it bleed
or do you do cover it
cause i know wounds close because of small cell things called platelets or something like that and they close up the wound
so if you let it bleed would the platelets come out faster and heal it more
but if covered it then itd just slow down the process
    fOR SCIENCE.

    So many questions.

Cover it at first to stop the bleeding and then take off the bandage after a day or so and let the air heal it.

It doesn't matter much for small stuff but covering it would help healing speed a bit. The platelets only work if they are making contact, if they are flowing past then they can't do anything. If you dress the wound then it stops excess blood for pouring out so it can stay where it is needed. While this is vital for larger wounds, for stuff like paper cuts it is much more about preventing infection.

Honestly I only get a bandage if I can't stop it with pressure within a couple of minutes.

Platelets don't close the wound. They make the blood clot so it'll dry in one spot and prevent the wound from opening further so it can close itself back up. It's basically a natural band-aid.
