    If only they were gigabytes that you could then use as space on your computer ;-;

I wouldn't mind an additional terabyte of data on my PC. That would be amazing. >.> New Prem perk in the works?

I love your puns so much!! Will you data me?

Technically, you exceeded two kilobytes once you passed 2048. In reality, 1 kilobyte is 1024 bytes. But that's just technical mumbo jumbo nerds like me use XD

Now that would be motivating people to post wouldn't it xD FREE TERABYTE OF SPACE! WOO! It's funny watching things from the 90's where it was amazing that computers had 50mB of space xD

My friends grandmother has this computer and it only has 70 GB of space. I felt so bad for her and I'm not sure why. It must just be a computer geek thing. But seriously, 70GB of space!!! I use more space with temporary internet files alone!!!

My C drive (the main one that has all the computer thinking in it) is about 70 GB and there is literally NOTHING in it. I have been having problems with it for ages. It just fills with nothing and I don't know how to free up space because I'm moving files out of it and into my other drives but then the space just gets filled again O.o

Wait . . . you're moving files into other drives? How many other drives do you have?

Can't tell if trolling or just being Nate.

Obviously you must be trolling because you have to have at least the basic knowledge when it comes to data. 1 kilobyte is 1024 bytes. Just like it takes 1024 kilobytes to make up a megabyte. It takes 1024 megabytes to make up a gigabyte. And it takes 1024 gigabytes to make up a terabyte. There are more but that's enough for now.

Also, if you don't believe me look it up. I have two years experience in an IT class that says you're wrong.

Okay, no need to get Unix-ers in a knot.

The standard definition of a kilobyte is 1000 bytes, whereas Microsoft uses 1024 bytes to a kilobyte. That's what I was taught, anyway.

    Also what does

    mean?

    4 in total, C= 70GB, D=16GB, E=76GB and H=298GB

The other 3 are relatively empty... kind of but C just fills incessantly.

They are built in, if external ones involve you plugging them in then they're internally built in. Physical space? How do you mean.

I think I gave up on a career in the technical field when I learned that the next unit down from a byte was a 'nibble'.

I spent the better part of a year arguing with a teacher that there's no way that is true.

    1024 bytes is a kibibyte.
