If Kingdom Hearts never existed

How different do you think your life would have been if Kingdom Hearts NEVER existed?

I think if it wasn't for KH I wouldn't have got the motivation to get a PS2. I dont think I would know what Final Fantasy is if it wasn't for KH (but I would eventually get into it because of my friend or brother). I dont think it would effect the anime fan in me because a friend got me into it anyway and there is a KH manga but KH wasn't my first ever manga that I've read, but you never know it is a 50% chance that I wouldn't be watching anime today if it wasn't for KH because I seen someone in my class and my cousin reading it and other manga before I knew what anime and manga were, I think I also wouldn't be into J-pop (Japanese music) if it that were to happen too. One funny thing I've came up with is maybe the person who started KH-Vids would have made FF-Vids (if there is one thats so awesome!). I think it is possible the popular Square Enix DS game "The World Ends With You/It's a Wonderful World" would not have existed ether if KH didn't exist because Neku Sakuraba looks like Sora and Shiki Misaki looks like Kairi, the game is also a street version of KH (thats my way of describing it).

I've just realized I would be the total opposite of my current self. Some of my friends hated me for wanting a PS3 more then a 360 because you can play Japanese games (that also has something to do with the anime fan in me) and Japanese Blu-Ray on it (region free games and we are the same region as Japan to play Japanese Blu-Ray). I would be playing shooter games like Halo or Call of Duty and Resident Evil on a 360 right now (I hate those games except for Halo) because my mom wanted to get me a 360 years ago when it came out but I rejected the offer (I wont be getting a PS3 until KH3 or Versus XIII are out in Japan btw).

Its so interesting how much would change if something didn't exist, even if it is something small or a series. I've asked how you the KH-V community got into KH, now I am asking you how your life would have been if it never existed or never got into it.

 

For me it's probably just that I wouldn't get to know the awesome people I know now through KHV.
Also, I would probably not have had the initial spark of interest in Action Adventure games driven by a(n at least) decent story.

 

Well considering I never joined for Kingdom Hearts in the first place my life would probably be somewhat the same. I probably wouldn't have gotten into playing Yu-Gi-Oh! though.
Though I probably wouldn't have found the Dueling Network either or made so many friends.

life for me...would be completely...uh i dont know how to explain it...all i can say nothing would be the same and life would feel like it is missing something for me, if i forget something i really like, or feel like i know it some how it eats at me if i dont look at it and try to figure out what made me forget it kh touched my soul without it, my life would not be anything the same... this "game" is its own universe with its people places and fans it is in its own right a separate embodiment of its own. its non existence would be like leaving a huge hole in our world, killing us and the way we all are in some way or another because of the memory's friends and imagination this game inspired not to mention many of the other things its given us would cease to exist along with it

 

Well, I wouldn't have discovered this website, which has led me to knowing stuff about the internet. I met my best friend because we both shared so many common interests that I discovered through this site, and the internet, and he got me into all the music I listen to and the social subcultures I'm in, and so without Kingdom Hearts I wouldn't be the person who I am today.

 

- I would have never gotten into RPGs
- I would never have gotten into RPing
- I would still be in possession of my soul
- I would've never made so many awesome friends
- I would be very bored
- I most likely wouldn't have gotten into Professor Layton
- I wouldn't have gone to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show without meeting Daxa
- I wouldn't have gotten into Final Fantasy.

Well, which made me remember, I got close to my best friends because one of them told me his favorite game is Kingdom Hearts. I probably wouldn't be the same without them, and without you guys, from KHV. I wouldn't know what really matters to me and all of those things.

Yup, Kingdom Hearts changed my life forever. Thank you oh powerful and great Nomura-sama-no-okami.

 

If I had never gotten to know Kingdom Hearts, I wouldn't have gotten to know Final Fantasy. And I would still be obsessed with Harry Potter. And I might not have become such a great artist and I wouldn't have a love of anime/manga and my life would be an utter bore. This game IS my life. I have gotten to know so many great people because of it, and it's basically my escape from the drama that my life so often holds.

 

Holy crap dude. There would be so much of a difference in my life if Kingdom Hearts had never existed.

And it would be a bad difference too. I'm glad it does and I shutter to think what would be if it didn't. ;~;​

it would be so sad, i am a hardcore kh fan and i finished all of the games 100% finished the mangasand such, well i would just play final fantasy and some other games...

I would never have started learning Japanese
I would never have gotten any farther into the gaming world than borrowing my brothers games
I would be a book person
I would have a lot of spare time
I would have no personality, life, or reason to exist.

If Kingdom Hearts never existed, my brother would have less to theorize, I wouldn't keep stealing his PS2, I never would have met all of the awesome people on this site, I would probably be doing homework right now, if not, I would be doing some other form of procrastination. My computer would probably have more space on it and I wouldn't own TWEWY.

 

That is another thing I was thinking about while I did this trend. It is a possibility TWEWY would have not existed because they share the same style. If you get erased you get turned into a Noise, if you lose your heart (or have the darkness take over your heart) you become a Heartless.

I may well not be alive. Seriously. This game brought me and my wonderful girlfriend together nearly 5 1/2 years ago. I was going through a rough time back then and was occasionally considering suicide. It's because I've had her that I don't even let that thought enter my mind. I can't imagine putting her through that. She'd find a way to blame herself and she'd have a mental breakdown and might even kill herself. I'm very grateful this game DOES exist and I really don't wanna consider what'd have happened if it didn't.

 

If KH never existed...God I don't know what would happen to me.

I guess I'd probily end up bring a stuck-up ******* and being depressed.

It was this game series that made me feel better as a person and even taught me to look at things in a new light as well as the only game series that ever made me cry.

Sora is my role model. He teaches me not take things too serious and just cut loose and have fun with life!

So I'm glad this series exists.
