Hitler originally wanted to be an artist.

You know, like instead of going "KILLTEHJ00Z" he would have ended up as a famous artist. Or would he have gone berserk the moment someone criticized his paintings badly?

Personally, I think he would've turned out really well.

Another thing to discuss here is if his father hadn't disowned him, would he still have gone DICTATOR SUPREME!?
My reasoning behind this question is because I think that part of his reason for becoming the ruler of Germany was a case of "HOW DO YA LIKE ME NOW DAD?!"
I think he would have stayed in Austria to pursue a career in art.

It's possible. Of course, he could still have been all "KILLTEHJ00Z" in an art sense. Not nearly as dangerous, of course, but he still could have influenced some people.

Conversely, if he didn't start WWII, it's possible that Einstein would never have fled Germany, and when the Soviets took power, they might have gained control of him and they could have had the first nukes. Now there's a scary thought, huh? It was only the threat of the nukes we had that stopped the Soviets from waging outright war against us. If they had the nukes, what would have stopped them?

^This. Only if the soviets did invade and try to take control.

There's a lot of "what ifs" that could have changed history, but there would be so much that would be changed, there's no real possible way of predicting what exactly would happen.

That's very true. Of course, that might mean that Hitler indirectly saved the USA, which is a very scary thought indeed. Then again, Einstein may have wanted to go to the United States anyway, and fleeing Germany was only one reason. And also, the place where Hitler was refused admission to art school was a predominately Jewish area.
That is also true, although I don't really know how to respond to to that.

Who knows? He may have ended up worse.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I don't think you can say that it would have been better or it would have been worse, unless you have the ability to go into the past and change it then we will never know.

Well considering the conditions we could've easily found someone just as worse. I mean with the influence of that overcompensating sociopath wilhelm II and the conditions of the treaty of versailles we could've ended up alot worse.
with history you can't really make a positive conclusion on whether it's for the better or for the worst.
