If HD 2.5 ReMix is made, Diz and Namine's lines might be redubbed for KH2FM

If Square decides to add English voice acting to the various new scenes that KH2FM adds, all of Namine and Diz's lines in the game may have to be redubbed entirely by the new actors for consistency not only with the rest of the game, but the preceding games as well.

To be honest I won't miss Brittany Snow as Namine, as I believe Meaghan Jette Martin fits the role just fine, but the loss of Christopher Lee's Diz/Ansem the Wise would be sad indeed.

Who knows, though? They didn't replace Billy Zane With Richard Epcar for Ansem SoD in KH1FM, so maybe they'll leave the original voice acting untouched. But since the odds of the original actors returning is pretty slim at this point, especially Christopher Lee, I have my doubts.

 

You're worrying for nothing. If Square left Billy Zane's quotes alone, then they more than likely won't replace these two, either.

I really hope that they keep the VAs as they are, I really like the voices that the entire KH series has and i'd really hate to lose them, it would feel strange to me. Brittany Snow did a great job with Namine in my opinion.

 

I'm not really partial to Brittany Snow's performance of Namine, so I think it would be interesting to hear someone else do the lines. But as for Christopher Lee, that would be a sad day if they were to rerecord his lines using someone else. Square Enix did a great job with some of the casting in the games.

 

If we learned anything from 1.5 it's that new scenes won't have voices.

 

Or they would reuse some old lines. e.g. Sora's encounter with Xemnas in KH: FM.

But anyways, I believe they would keep Christopher Lee's voice as DiZ in KHII: FM. Not sure about Brittany Snow though. As like what libregkd said, Namine has a scene not included in the standard KHII game where it would need voice acting. I hope either Brittany Snow or Meaghan Jette Martin would voice her for that scene. But yeah, the old voicing would be kept in KHII: FM.
