The problem lies with Amaury following the rules to the letter, and as long as it is within the rules he has no remorse. He would be especially watchful of the people he didn't like and use the rules to pick on them for their actions.

Having worse options doesn't make the existing ones any better.

If I were any of the staff member ranks, I would only modify or delete threads / posts as any other staff member would, and the same would go for infractions and bans.
