I watched Paprika with beezygee the other day, and started to work on this. This is a total work in progress. Not really sure where to go from here, so any advisement would be v. nice. Spoiler
Lol poop <3 The more I look at it, the more I like it. I love the smudging in the background and the flow it beautiful. The stock fits in very well I think. You could add some gradient maps to adjust the colours if you wanted or put something over the top of her to go with the flow, like under her left arm but on top of her hip area. Otherwise I'd suggest adding some text (if you wanted) or a border and maybe dodge and burn just a bit. Otherwise I think it's fine.
I think the chief problem right now is that you're not working very close to the stock? The majority of what you've added seems to be to the far left, whereas the area around the stock feels untouched. It's a WIP so perhaps you've not gotten around to that yet, but don't be afraid to work close to your stock! I find that, when doing tags with a lot of smudging, it's often useful to cutout the stock and save the selection as an alpha channel; that way, you can work close to the stock, but still erase the areas that you don't want covered. Additionally, I think you need some text/foreground effects, just to have a bit more focus. And light please. Dodge/burn that baby. Nice work so far though Ploohems, keep at it~
BUMP but I was bored and dug through my PSDs and added things Spoiler: Original Spoiler: Upderp i just this was hARD EDIT: holy hell this looks like a neon sign on this dark skin dear christ
Plumsy, why are you so good at grafix? Like srsly, I want dem skills. Both versions of this one are eyegasmic imo, but honestly I think I prefer v1. As good as the circles and sparkles are in v2, there's just not enough contrast between the black and white for me. Still, since I can't make crap on Photoshop, it's not like I can really criticize, rite? Overall, your stuff is just so pretty.
