I realized just how organized and well-run and active KHV is.

This is actually completely true. I've visited a few other forums, major and minor, and frankly none of them have kept me around for more than a few weeks.

 

One thing I've noted is that staff in some other forums are either extremely mean or simply distant from the members.

 

Also true. The fact that KHV's staff feel like regular members that just happen to have staff positions is great.

This is the best one I know of at the moment, but the management is still below my standards. Perfectionism will do that.

The more active a forum is, the less organised it is. The less active a forum is, the more organised it is.

KHV is some place below the middle when it comes to being active, but is pretty high when it comes to organisation. How does that work?

As organised and well-run as khv is its gotten fairly inactive. Figure that's due to folk finishing with school and whatnot.

 

Also the fact that a lot Kingdom Hearts fans got fed up with the series a while ago.

 

Heh, I don't even come here for KH news anymore. Mostly just to mess around and shiet.

So far I've only seen one other forum and it looked like a huge mess over there.

 

KHV is a perfect activity level. Active enough to be interesting, but not so popular that you get the **** load of awful people like larger forums.

 

True, plus no one ever truly leaves KHV. I mean seriously some of the regulars/vets have been here for ages, and while they do leave sometimes, a huge majority always seems to come back.
