I want to share this with you people

Today, after years of playing that bloody games, i finally caught my first freaking shiny Pokemon! It's an ill looking green Golbat but i don't care! It shines!

 

Ahh, I remember the first time getting a shiny Pokemon card, the excitement is so exciting that you implode. I'm assuming the games are no different.

 

Finding shinies is always fun. My first was a zubat that I caught in sapphire version. Even though it was a lame pokemon I was still pretty happy with myself XD

 

I'm happy with my Shiny Charizard.
It's black-ish (sorta grey? too) and red. XD
And my Shiny Luxray.
It's Black and Yellow. :D

My first shiny was a Nidoking. It was wild.

 

I've found about 5 shinies in my life. I once found a shiny magikarp in the safari zone once. But If we're going to count the shiny Gyarados in Soul Silver and Heart Gold I've caught them plenty more. I don't like it when people hack just to make their pokemon shiny.

 

Shiny Skarmory was my first, pretty awesome.

 

I am certainly not too surprised considering the Steel typing.

I was almost certain this thread was about poo. Needless to say, I was relieved.

 

I think you're on to something, don't tell anyone else, I smell the beginning of an underground steel smugling business.

@Spike I was playing fire-red, just waltzing around and there it appeared. Took me about 5 minutes to catch it due to stress factor, would have caught a shiny heracross later that day if I had more pokeballs...
