This is from Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Raising Project and I don't think you should read it because from what I know about you and your tastes, you probably wouldn't like it. I love it, though.

Is this really official or is it a scanlation because Asuka calling Shinji baka in English is kinda...off putting...
...it reminds me when every fan sub of One Piece would use the word nakama instead of friend/crew...

 

It's official. I scanned it from the book myself. And really, I think it fits better. Asuka's nickname for him is "baka Shinji" and it doesn't really sound as good when you translate it. Evangelion 2.22 used "Stupid Shinji," but even that sounds kinda silly out loud.
