Kingdom Hearts II I Still Hate This Game...

...for its ridiculous amount of long, crappy Disney cutscenes. I skipped Pride Lands II and Space Paranoids II just because they have nothing to do with the plot and are completely boring. Playing through the game is a pain. The only good parts are collecting the puzzle pieces in every world, but after you've been there once the Second Visit just becomes a chore.

I kind of agree going back for the second time was really annoying considering it never pushed along with the story line at all, but I just liked having a level to play.

 

True, the second visits seemed rather mediocre--but for me, the appealing characterization allowed me to overlook the redundancy of the events; I just liked experiencing Sora's journey, no matter what it was.

 

Wow , you must be brave enough to come out and say the game is horrible , especially with this site being a Kingdom Hearts fan site.

 

Meh, I skipped most of those cutscenes.

Phisoxa: First of all he's a super mod, secondly if he hated the game he wouldn't have imported Final Mix+. He's saying the Disney cutscenes are boring and the second visits are like a chore and don't have anything to do with the story at all.

 

I liked all of the cutscenes, personally.

I watched every.single.one. Never gets old to me. :/

 

Same. It's an excuse for an encore that I'd gladly accept.

i agree, second visits felt like taking out loads of garbage.

It's almost like you forgot the reason they are locking the worlds again. There's a reason. I shouldn't have to say it--as this should be common sense.

I usually skip all the non important Disney cutscenes cuz if you've seen the movie you're just fine. However, I almost always watch the plot-significant cutscenes.

 

Hmmm...I can see why, but it never bothered me.

Everybody feels differently about things, though...

 

I still love the game. But the Disney worlds felt like fillers. And as we all know from Naruto. Fillers = Bad.

I just rushed through those parts. And re-watched all the main storyline scenes.

 

I did that with my Expert Run actually.

With my first run, I just watched everything. I regret it now.

 

I always watch the cutscenes.
But some of them do get really boring.

 

I can see where you're coming from, but it was still pleasant for me because it was just fun to experience Sora's journey.

 

I don't really care if the scene didn't have much to do with the story i stilled watched them & found it a joy to watch.
