I'm assuming that's history you should be studying? Don't blame you really, I'm currently revising physics (electrical circuits) and I'm bored out my mind :/8D:

Oooh not fun. I live in England and am currently studying for mock (practice) exams on Friday. Well I've had a whole week of them already but my Physics is on Friday. It's kind of pointless so I'm not motivated.

Romans? That's interesting. What about them? Political life or social life? Roman art is kinda dull though.

Your English is impressive if it's a second language, mediocre if it's a first language. Less text talk, more punctuation and you're good to go.

It's amazing how everywhere except Brazil gets four months without school in the end of the year.
Gotta love this country and it's completely inefficient educationary system that needs 2 extra months to catch up with the others.

Do I see another Brazilian on the forums :O?

I know what you mean though. It's great that I'll be out of school after this week but it sucks majorly that I'll be back in school in less than two months D:. At least I'll be in college then so I guess it'll be better.

That would be 3 months. And if your overall marks are not good, it gets reduced to 2, so yeah.

Both of 'em. It's not really interesting for a 13-year old tho...

What are you talking about?! Caesar's siege of Alesia is fascinating, as is the political alliance of the First Triumvirate. Roman social life is a breeze, provided you can memorise the Latin words.

What sort of stuff are you covering?

My friends have been studying for History all day, but I find the world wars rather boring even if they are extremely important to us. I remember falling asleep in many History lessons before I got to drop it.

And yes your English is very good, if I didn't know you were from another country I would have guessed English was your first language.

    Well, you know...
I don't know the english names of what i'm studying so...
I'm studying the way rome was governed until it was split in 2 by the last emperor Teodosio (spanish name FTW) and gave each half to his 2 sons...
Then the feudal age I think it's called, you know, when the king didn't have much power because there were people who owned a lot of land, even more than the king himself.
These "lords" had vassals, which were farmers who made a "feudal contract" with him and had topay taxes. In exchange the lord gave them land and political protection.

    WHEW

    And thanks Ienzo!!!

Eww. Yeah, that's dull. Post-Augustus, the entire thing starts going downhill. Nero is interesting, in a way, but Caesar's really where it's at.
